During 1999, Dr. Rinehardt was able to fulfill a growing interest in medical relief missions. He participated in two: one in Haiti; the other Honduras. For this Honduras trip, Dr. Rinehardt took two of his four children, to expose them to the different culture and its medical issues. The kids were able to meet and work with children their age. He took his other two children on a third trip in 2001.
Outside of his dedication to women’s healthcare, Dr. Rinehardt is a tennis enthusiast. He plays singles and mixed doubles with his wife. He is also a soccer coach.
