Dr. Green has received numerous honors and scholarships. He has authored many articles in his field of study and has presented in the U. S. and abroad. Dr. Green is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology as well as the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is active with the American Urological Association and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the International Continence Society, the Richmond Academy of Medicine, the Medical Society of Virginia, la Société Internationale d’Urologie and the Society for Urodynamics & Female Urology.

As director of the Virginia Women’s Continence Center, Dr. Green sees patients with urinary incontinence and bladder difficulties. His interest lies in all aspects of female urology, including pelvic relaxation and urinary tract infections. Dr. Green is one of the few physicians in central Virginia certified to perform Interstim, a procedure that treats frequency, urgency and urge incontinence via neuromodulation.

Dr. Green and his wife have six children—three boys and three girls (all delivered by Virginia Women’s Center obstetricians). He enjoys skiing, physical fitness and playing jazz piano, but the vast majority of his non-work time is spent enjoying his family.
